Irena Gut

Aquick-witted young Polish woman forced to work as a member of household staff for Nazi officers in her hometown, Irena quickly finds herself under-estimated by the senior officials for whom she works. She is privy to sensitive military plans, which allows her to secretly disseminate intel among the local Jewish community to aid in escape plans while she, herself, leads a bold, dangerous mission to smuggle her entire Jewish staff to freedom under the nose of the Nazi officials whose growing suspicions of her come just a moment too late.

Irena Gut is credited with rescuing over 200 Jews during the Holocaust- while just 21years old.
