I’m Who You Want

Warsaw. 68. The last month of winter. The city is buzzing with music, politics, social unrest, and second-hand fashion. A series of coincidental events leads street florist Eliza to the idea of becoming someone more, but the famous phonetics professor Stanisław Herman does not knock it out of her head. What’s more, he claims that thanks to lessons in music, pronunciation and good manners, the girl will forget about her adventurous lifestyle, and he will successfully introduce her to the social scene. Only later will it become clear how high the cost of making a living person into material for experimentation. “I’m Who You Want” is an unobvious love story and a musical journey through the forgotten faces of Warsaw in the 60s.
